Take a seat and listen to º£½ÇÉçÇø community members’ stories at the Living Library to gain greater compassion and insight into what others may be experiencing. The Living Library allows you to engage with authentic human experiences.
The Living Library is a space to listen first and learn about the connection between mental health and social justice. Together, we can build empathy and address stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination by hearing about others' experiences.
Unlike traditional libraries filled with books, a Living Library features people as "Living Books," each with their own stories and experiences to share, rooted in their identities, backgrounds, cultures and intersections.
This event is organized by Days of Action as part of World Day of Social Justice, observed internationally on February 20.
