The awards are issued once each year and recognizes undergraduate students, from across North America, who have shown outstanding research potential in computing science. Jialiang was nominated for his work on mobile app privacy notices, which he completed over the summer of 2024.
Jialiang is an undergraduate student in the final year of his studies at the 海角社区 who has worked under the supervision of in the Practical Usable Privacy and Security (PUPS) Research Lab and under the supervision of in the Educational Technology, Knowledge, Language, and Learning Analytics (EdTeKLA) Research Group since 2023.
