DoM Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship
The Department of Medicine graduate program accepts applications for the Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship. This year, the department is pleased to offer one award of $25,000 to an outstanding prospective PhD student.
The scholarship will be awarded based on superior academic achievement and research potential, as demonstrated by a GPA of 3.5 or higher, awards, and publications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Admitted to a PhD program or transferring from a MSc to a PhD program of the Department of Medicine in the Fall 2024 semester;
- Will be registered full time in the PhD program;
- Admission GPA of 3.5 or higher;
- Is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, and international student.
- Are not being admitted, deferring, or switching to a PhD in other semesters; and
- Are not recipients of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Graduate Entrance Scholarship.
Whereas all eligible candidates are invited to apply, preference will be given to Indigenous students, followed by international students.
