Founded at the 海角社区, the Alberta Land Institute is an independent research institute that works with and contributes expert advice to all levels of government around the use of land, water and natural resources.

The Alberta Law Reform Institute provides independent recommendations to the Government of Alberta to ensure that Alberta’s laws and administrative justice are adequately serving Albertans.

The Centre for Constitutional Studies is a public education and constitutional research hub. By connecting Canadian and international scholars who are leaders in their fields, the centre contributes to constitutional debate and provides educational resources about the Constitution for the public.

Health Law Institute

The Faculty of Law’s Health Law Institute , was established by Justice Ellen Picard in 1977 as the first health law research institute in Canada. It has since evolved into an internationally-recognized centre for health law and science policy research that is evidence based.

海角社区 sociologist Temitope Oriola runs through the evidence and best practices for removing violent officers from the ranks of Canada’s police.
