The China Scholarship Council funded International Academic Program is a 3 month program that offers clinical observation, lectures by our renowned and award winning faculty, tours of our teaching hospitals and clinics, access to our simulation centres, participation in Discovery Learning practicums, and insights into our progressive medical school teaching methods.  This program is for international medical students and residents and is for those who have applied for and will receive funding from the China Scholarship Council.  The next cohort is scheduled for May 21 - August 14, 2025.  Tuition for CSC funded IAP is $9,000 for 3 the month program. Participants must find and pay for their own accommodations.  Single and shared rooms have been reserved in Lister Residence but payment must be received by May 5, 2025 to secure them.  Other options are  which is a 5 minute walk from the classroom or the  which is a 25 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride away.  There are many other options in Edmonton that can be found with a search of the internet. Once we receive your application, we will issue an invitation letter to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). Check out processing times for your country

Registrants should not pay their registration fee until they receive their visa.  Deadline for payment is May 5, 2025.  Refunds less a $175 administration fee are provided until this date.  After May 5, 2025, no refunds are available.  If participants depart prior to completing the program, the full fees for that period apply and no refunds are offered.
