Program Overview

The is a funded summer research program. It aims to attract around 200 exceptionally talented and driven undergraduate and graduate students from various parts of the world to venture into an immersive research experience at four prestigious universities (Zhejiang University, University of Science and Technology of China, Fudan University and Nanjing University) in China's Yangtze River Delta region.

From June to August, GRIPS students will have the unique opportunity to actively engage in a robust research program, which includes laboratory experience at one of the four said universities, industry visits, excursions around the picturesque Yangtze River Delta region, immersive Chinese cultural activities, enlightening lectures by esteemed academicians, and a supportive mentorship component. Application Deadlines + Instructions

Deadline: March 5, 2025. Students will need to be nominated by the 海角社区. Submit your application on Horizons to be considered.   

Instructions: Apply on . Ensure that your letter of intent mentions which project you are interested in. For the application, students will also need an academic recommendation letter on hand by March 8, 2025. 


Fees + Costs

Placement Fee: $250 CAD

Students are encouraged to apply for funding even if they do not have a confirmed internship to avoid missing important deadlines.
