Scientists
Centre for Healthy Communities scientists embrace engaged scholarship by working closely with partners and communities to address applied public health problems and societal questions that impact health, wellbeing, and sustainability. Centre scientists support Canadians in helping their communities achieve their healthiest potential by:
- conducting research and evaluations
- collecting necessary data
- developing and scaling up tools and interventions
- sharing and mobilizing research evidence
- harnessing scientific and experiential (practice and community-based) knowledge through evidence reviews
- capacity building, and
- working collaboratively to achieve collective impact.
Centre for Healthy Communities scientists are formally affiliated with the School of Public Health, 海角社区 in a research capacity (e.g., through a faculty or adjunct position or long-standing collaboration).
